What causes anxiety and insomnia? Is there a solution?
Inadequate or disturbed sleep is a result of a myriad imbalances within the body.
It is usually a combination of poor dietary and lifestyle habits. Over time these poor habits lead to systemic dysfunctions.
Thyroid dysfunction, poor Liver function and inadequate Nutrition often lead to symptoms of insomnia and anxiety.
The sleeplessness does not occur in isolation. In most cases the body will exhibit signs of arrhythmia, progesterone-oestrogen imbalance, weight gain, osteoporosis, depression, hair-loss, brittle-nails, constipation, insomnia, anxiety and more.

White Poppy Seeds
White poppy seeds contain natural opiates, often used in the pharmaceutical industry.
White poppy seeds contain manganese, calcium, thiamine, B6, folate, copper, magnesium, zinc, iron, linoleic acid among other nutrients.
Amongst other benefits, small and regular doses of white poppy seeds help manage an array of symptoms like constipation, insomnia, anxiety, asthma, dry skin, cracking joints, fertility, low libido.
Poppy seeds help lower cortisol levels ( stress hormone ), routine consumption of poppy seeds helps pacify the mind and promotes relaxation and sleep thus providing relief from restlessness and other anxiety related symptoms.
A bonus benefit of poppy seed consumption is that it improves female reproductive tract health.
Poppy seed oil heals the mucus membrane and improves fallopian tube function, promoting female reproductive health.
** Note: White poppy seeds contain small quantities of psychoactive opiates, primarily morphine, (hence their effectiveness), some research suggests that this can be detected in the urine for up to 48 hrs after consumption.
